*** Note: Ann’s given name is Emma Pauline Clara Voth, although in the original article she was referred to as Ann Voth. She was born in Unity, Clark County, Wisconsin. Church records of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Spencer, Marathon County, indicate that the marriage took place on April 17th.
