Pacholke, Bernice Coretta (Marriage - 7 June 1947)

Bernice Coretta Pacholke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Pacholke of Colby, and Casper Arthur Cobb of Eau Claire, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Cobb of Eau Claire, were married at St. Laurence Chapel, Minneapolis, Minn., Saturday, June 7th, Rev. Patrick Curtain reading the marriage ceremony. Elaine Witt of Eau Claire was maid of honor and Jane Lukowicz of Colby was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by his two brothers, Rodney and Frank.

The bride was attired in a gown of aqua blue with white accessories, and, for something old she wore her mother’s necklace. Her bouquet consisted of roses and lilies of the valley. The maid of honor wore a gray dress and the bridesmaid a powder blue dress and their bouquets were similar to that of the bride’s.

A reception was given at the Hotel Edwards at Eau Claire. The table was decorated with a three-tier wedding cake and flowers.

Mr. and Mrs. Cobb have returned from a two-weeks trip to Canada and are now at home at 1314 Fourth S.E., Minneapolis, Minn., where the bride and groom are employed by the International Harvester Co.

Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Wm. C. Pacholke and daughter, Yvonne, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. F. Pacholke and Howard Pacholke of Colby, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Pacholke, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Cobb, Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Cobb and children, Joan, Joe and Frank, and Rodney Cobb, all of Eau Claire.
