Loos, Mr./Mrs. E. D. (50th Anniv. - 20 June 1947)
Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Loos will be married 50 years tomorrow, Friday, June 20. They were married on June 20, 1897, at Potters, Wis. Mr. Loos was born at Kiel, Wis., on April 17, 1873, and Mrs. Loos was born at Potters, Wis., on June 16, 1879. They came to Colby in 1902 and Mr. Loos operated the machine shop in this city until 1945, when his two sons, Vernon and Clinton, took over.
Mr. and Mrs. Loos have five children - Sherman, Vernon and Clinton, of Colby, Mrs. Richard Reyer of Two Rivers and Mrs. Earl Starkey of Seymour, Ind.
Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Loos are having "open house" for their friends to observe their golden wedding anniversary on Friday, June 20th.
