Ciutiss, Wis. - Nov. 6, 1947

Mrs. Theo. Frane spent Saturday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Kniess, at Wausau.

Rev. and Mrs. G. E. Borreson attended a farewell party for Rev. and Mrs. M. Jensen of Eau Claire on Monday. The Jensens are leaving the Eau Claire circuit on Dec. 1st.

Msdmes, Fred Machlett, A. M. Erickson, F. H. Matthias and Willard Geary were Marshfield callers on Monday.

Bernard Lulloff who has been a patient at St. Joseph’s hospital at Marshfield the past month, suffering from burns he received while lighting a stove fire with oil, is still confined to his bed.

The St. Paul’s Lutheran Ladies’ Aid will meet with Mrs. James Bukosky on Wed., Nov. 12th.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack McCorrison have moved their household goods from Marshfield to the Fred Richter home where they will reside. The McCorrisons have lived with the George Hoff family the past year.

Pupils and parents of the Clover-Nook School, Mrs. Esther Thompson, teacher, enjoyed a basket social and Halloween party at the school house on Friday evening.

Mrs. Lloyd Haemir, formerly a patient of the Marathon county Sanitarium near Wausau, was admitted there again the end of the week.

The Curtiss 4-H club and the Clover 4-H club held a joint Halloween party at the village hall on Saturday evening.
