Shatwell, Mac A. (April 29, 1942 - January 2, 2008)

Mac A. Shatwell, age 65, of Bellinger, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at the Gilman Care Center, Gilman, WI.

A visitation was held on Saturday, January 5, 2008, from 4-8 p.m. at the Gilman Funeral Home, Gilman, WI. Services were held on Tuesday, January 8, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at the Holt Memorial Chapel, Harrison, AR, with Brother Bud Byerley officiating. Burial followed in the Red Rock Cemetery, Vendor AR. Friends and family called from 9-11:00 a.m. prior to service time at the funeral chapel. Plombon Funeral Service, Gilman, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.

Mac was born April 29, 1942, in Vendor AR, the son of Vester & Tessie (Martin) Shatwell. He grew up in Vendor, attending area schools. He was then united in marriage to Doreen Kulesa in 1977 in Harrison, AR, and worked at various jobs between Arkansas and California. In 1982, they moved to Bellinger, WI, and have resided there since, with Mac doing various mechanical jobs. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his pick-up and gardening.

Mac is survived by his mother, Tessie; wife, Doreen of Bellinger, WI; and two sons: Jeff (Kathy) and Joey Shatwell both of Medford, WI; grandchildren: Brayden, Allison, Graci and Gavyn; two brothers: Leo & Roger Shatwell of Harrison, AR; and four sisters: Delci, Neva & Thelma, all of Harrison, AR, and Shirley of Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father; one granddaughter, Isabelle; four brothers: Danny, Roy, George, and James in infancy; and one sister, Faye Coney.
