Leonhardt, Minnie W. (24 Aug. 1883 - 2 Jan. 1947)

Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. John A. Leonhardt who died at her home in Medford Thursday morning, Jan. 2. The rites were held at the Hartwig & Ruesch Funeral Home at Medford, Rev. Halverson officiating, and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

Mrs. Leonhardt, the former Minnie W. Tesmer, was born in Colby, Wisconsin on August 24, 1883. She attended school in Colby and was married to John A. Leonhardt on Feb. 22, 1904. The couple moved to Medford 37 years ago.

Surviving are her husband and nine children - Oscar Leonhardt of Shakopee, Minn., John Jr., of Stratford, Mrs. Meta Stringham of Rockford, Ill., Miss Martha Leonhardt of Evanston, Ill., Mrs. Martin Rudolph, Mrs. Paul Rudolph, Mrs. Leonhard Mauritz, of Medford, Henry Leonhardt of Milwaukee and Walter Leonhardt of Medford. Also surviving are 29 grand children and four brothers and sisters - Mrs. John A. Wolf of Colby, Mrs. Ed Smith of Marshfield, William Tesmer of Colby and August Tesmer of Spencer, Wis. Four children preceded her in death.
