Olson, Augusta (23 Aug. 1871 - 21 June 1947)

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, June 24, at Christ Lutheran church at Abbotsford for Mrs. J. P. Olson who died Saturday, June 21. Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiated at the service. Pall bearers were Edwin Hoeft, Emil Hoeft, Herman Vircks, H. J. Amacher, Walter Kuenzi and Clarence Gosse. Those in charge of the flowers were Janet Orth, Janet Frome, Yvonne Fricke, Ila Mae Emling, Jean Feit and Shirley Larson.

Mrs. Olson, nee Augusta Tesmer, was born at Forestville, Door county on August 23, 1871, and was married in Colby April 23, 1891, to John P. Olson of Abbotsford who died on October 17, 1934. She lived in Abbotsford since she was married.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Julia) Emiling of Loyal, Mrs. Edward (Edith) Feit of Unity and Laura, at home. Also surviving are two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. John Pribnow of Colby, Mrs. Conrad Orth of Colby, Paul Tesmer of Colby and Herman Tesmer of Neillsville. Word has been received that a sister, Mrs. William Daglke of Portland, Oregon, died on June 22. There are four grand children and two great grand children.
