Thayer, Nora (8 Oct. 1883 - 15 Dec. 1947)
Mrs. Harley Thayer, age 64, died Monday night at 8:00 o’clock at her home in Unity following a long illness. Private funeral services are being held this Thursday morning at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby, where the body had been lying in state, and at 1:30 o’clock Rev. F. J. Smith of Colby and Rev. E. J. Fleming of Marshfield will conduct funeral services at the Unity Methodist church with Rev. Fleming delivering the message. Burial will be made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.
Mrs. Thayer, nee Nora Graham, was born in the town of Unity on Oct. 8, 1883, and was married to Harley Thayer on October 8, 1902. She was a member of the Methodist church, the Women’s Society of Christian Service and Ladies’ Aid Society. She spent her entire life in Unity.
Surviving besides her husband are two children, Mrs. S. A. Cook of Unity and Graham Thayer of Colby; three brothers, George and Charles Graham of Alberta, Canada, and Jess Graham of British Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Christman of Tony and Mrs. Bessie Danburger of Alberta, Canada; and three grand children. A brother died in infancy and two sisters, Lucy and Aurilla, also preceded her in death.

Elnora Thayer and Nora Graham are one in the same. She was always called by Nora. She was my grandmother and is buried in the same lot as Harley Henry Thayer (my grandfather), Graham (my father), Gary (my brother) and Marlea Thayer (my great Aunt)
In the section of the site which has births in Clark County, you have Jessie Graham listed b. 26 May 1880 (my great uncle). There were seven other children in the family. Jessie had a twin sister, Jennie; my grandmother, Elnora Clarice Graham, b. 08 Oct 1883, d. 15 Dec 1947, buried at Colby Memorial; Aurilla E Graham b. 1873, George A Graham b. 1876, Charles O Graham b. 1878, Besse Barbara Graham b. 1892, Lucy E Graham b. 1896, and Cortez E Graham b. 18 Mar 1898.
