Miss Anna Hanson left on Wednesday for Chetek where she will visit her niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Jacobson and son.
Mr. and Mrs. George Hoff entertained at a family dinner on Sunday in honor of their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Hoff, who are spending their vacation here. Others present were their daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Soltenberg of Nelsonville, Mrs. Louis Boardman and children on Thorp, Mr. and Mrs. Jack McCorrison and Jane and their nieces, Marjie and Barbara Kamps of near Marshfield.
Col. and Mrs. Norman A. Matthias and family left on Friday for their home in Arlington, Va., after a ten day visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Matthias.
Mrs. John Erickson was honor guest at a post nuptial shower at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Erickson. About sixteen ladies attended. A mix-master was presented to Mrs. Erickson by the group.
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Perschke and family, Mrs. Hattie Johnson and daughter, Geraldine Johnson, all of Green Bay, spent the week-end with Mrs. Johnson’s daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Broithwaite.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Witte and family have returned home from a two months’ business and pleasure trip through the west.
