Unity - Dec. 16, 1948
The Christian Mothers’ Society met Monday night. Musical numbers were presented by Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Davis and Mrs. Margaret Tesmer and a talk was given by Rev. Franz P. Puhlmann of Colby, Wisconsin.
William Schulz and daughter, June, left Thursday for Hot Springs, N.M., to spend the winter.
Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Cook and son, Ray, Mr. Harley Thayer, and Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Mabbot and daughter, Faith, drove to Oshkosh and Fond du Lac Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Mabbot and daughter spent the day with Mrs. Ora Mabbot in Oshkosh, and the rest of the party drove on to Fond du Lac to spend the day with Mr. Thayer’s sisters.
The women of the Pinochle club entertained their husbands at a Christmas party at the Herman Leffel home Sunday night.
