Hart, Bernard Sr. (1867? - 1 MAY 1941)
Bernard Hart Sr., 73, father of Mrs. L.E. Gonyo, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lin, at Chicago Thursday, May 1, 1941.
His death was attributed to a heart ailment which he had been suffering from.
Mr. Hart was a retired Northwester conductor having served the company for over 50 years. He was retired from service four years ago.
Mr. Hart was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. He was a fine Christian and was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. John’s Church.
His home was at Green Bay but the past four and a half months he had been at the home of his daughter in Chicago.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. L.E. Gonyo of Owen, and Mrs. Harry Linn of Chicago; a son, Bernard Hart Jr. of Green Bay; two brothers, James of Marinette and John of Askeaton; and a sister, Mrs. Catherine Smith of Green Bay.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, May 5 at 9:00 a.m., from St. John’s Church at Green Bay. Interment was made in Allouez Cemetery.
