Winrich, Audrey F. (16 MAY 1941)
A lovely wedding service was solemnized in the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Winrich before immediate relatives and friends when Miss Audrey Faye Winrich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Winrich of this city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.), and Shirleigh L. Rusch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Rusch of Thorp (Clark Co.), were joined in wedlock Friday, May 16, 1941.
The ceremony was performed at a lovely candlelight service in the living room of the bride’s parents home amid a setting of spring flowers of lilacs, honeysuckle, tulips and lilies of the valley. The service was read by Rev. G.R. McKeith, minister of the Congregational Church of Medford.
The bride wore a gown of green sheer and had a bouquet of roses and lilies of the valley. She was attended by her sister, Barbara, and a close friend, Miss Jean Turney. They each carried a bouquet of carnations and lilies of the valley.
The bridegroom was attended by William Wollum.
The bride is a graduate of the Owen schools and of the Eau Claire Business College. For the past year she has been employed as a stenographer at the Blue Moon Cheese Co. at Thorp.
The bridegroom attended school at Thorp and is now employed as a plant superintendent at the Blue Moon Co.
The couple will make their future home in Thorp.
Those from away who attended the wedding service were Miss Lou Bruhn, Bud Walsdorf, and Henry Bridges of Thorp, and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Larson and daughter, Mary, of Eau Claire.
