RHINELANDER -- Lloyd Ralph Wehrman, 71, of Rhinelander, died Thursday, March 8, 2007, at the Taylor Park Nursing Home in Rhinelander. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2007, at St. Joseph's Holy Family Church in Phlox. Inurnment will be in Abbotsford Public Cemetery.
Maurina/Community Funeral Homes of Abbotsford assisted the family with the arrangements.
He was born July 20, 1935, in the town of Frankfort to Herbert and Alvina (Mateofsky) Wehrman. He married Ann Mieczek in 1957 and they later divorced. He served in the U.S. Army, honorably discharged in April 1962. He was employed by the town of Frankfort, did logging and trucking and later worked on the Alaskan pipeline. He had lived in Sebring, Fla., moving to Rhinelander in June 2006.
Survivors include his children, Char (Rick) Boris, Marathon, Debra (Randy) Waldvogel, Antigo, Dorothy (Tim) Resch, Wausau, and Chris (Tim) Melzer, Antigo; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and his sister, Diane (Donald) Bauer, Marshfield.
