Verlyn V. Jantz

Verlyn V. Jantz, 84, of 1207 E. Depot St., died on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at the Colonial Center in Colby, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.

Visitations will be from noon until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Verlyn was born on Nov. 15, 1922, in Sherry to John and Lillian (Grabel) Jantz. He was united in marriage to Anita Hoeft on July 28, 1943, in Marshfield. He worked at Rollohome, Wick Building Systems in Spencer and later retired from farming.

He is survived by his wife, Anita; three children, Betty Spotts and Terry Jantz, both of Marshfield, and Carol Schonfeldt of Stratford; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is further survived by a sister, Evelyn Graettinger of Cochran.
