Fechhelm, Geraldine (Marriage - 20 Dec. 1947)

Miss Geraldine Fechhelm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Fechhelm and Gordon Thiel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Thiel, were united in marriage at St. Mary’s rectory on Saturday, Dec. 20, Rev. N. B. Beschta reading the marriage ceremony. The bride’s sister, Miss Emmagene Fechhelm, was maid of honor and the groom was attended by his brother, Allen Thiel.

The bride was attired in a brown suit with brown accessories and her corsage consisted of yellow roses. The maid of honor also wore a brown suit with matching accessories and her corsage consisted of pink and white carnations.

A dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents at noon.

Both the bride and the groom are employed by the Streckert Lumber and Supply Company at Abbotsford, Wisconsin.

After a short honeymoon in Minnesota, the couple will make their home in Colby, Wisconsin.
