Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Evangelical Lutheran church at Curtiss for Lyman Paul Rued, age 29, who died of pneumonia Wednesday, March 3rd, at the Wisconsin State Hospital at Madison, where he had been since Feb. 23, pneumonia being the cause of his death. Rev. G. E. Borreson officiated at the services and burial was made in the church cemetery.

Surviving, besides his father, are two brothers, Ambrose Rued of Marshfield and Marvin Rued of Gilman and a sister, Mrs. Chester (Violet) Bangsburg, of Sparta. His mother died in 1924.
