Kraut, Ida (20 Nov. 1886 - 5 July 1948)
Mrs. Ida Kraut of Curtiss, Wisconsin died at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital at midnight Monday at the age of 61 years, a heart attack and other complications being the cause of her death. She was admitted to the hospital Sunday evening. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Curtiss Evangelical and Reformed church, Rev. Franz Puhlmann officiating, and internment will be made in the Pine Hill cemetery at Curtiss.
The body will lie in state at the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin) at Owen until 11 A.M. Friday, when it will be taken to the church to remain until the time of the services.
Ida Kind was born Nov. 20, 1886 in Wiley, Minn., and was married to Frank Kraut June 19, 1910. They had made their home in Curtiss for the remainder of their lives. Mr. Kraut died in August 1944.
Surviving are two sons and three daughters, Franklin of Owen, Donald of Curtiss, Mrs. Gorton (Pearl) Vorland of Colby, Mrs. William (Ethel) Zuelke of Madison and Marie at home. There are five grandchildren. Surviving also are three brothers and three sisters - Otto Kind of Greenwood, Adolph Kind of Milwaukee, Eddie Kind of New Holstein, Mrs. Richard Pohl of Curtiss, Mrs. Herman Pigel of Chilton and Mrs. Lena Hartwig of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
