Olson, Mary (7 June 1864 - 5 Nov. 1948)

Mrs. John A. Olson of Abbotsford died at her home Friday afternoon at 3:40 o’clock. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Presbyterian church at Abbotsford, Rev. G. E. Griffiths officiating, and burial was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery where the Order of the Eastern Star conducted rites at the graveside.

Mrs. Olson, the former Mary Donaldson, was born in Norway, June 7, 1864, and was married at Colby on Jan. 17, 1882, to John A. Olson, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are six children - Mrs. Albert (Josephine) Strebe and Mrs. Harry (Emma) Treat of Abbotsford, Charles D. Olson of King, J. M. Olson of Wausau, Mrs. Frank (Effe) Juneau of Chippewa Falls and Mrs. Adelaide Simerson of Abbotsford, Wisconsin. A son, John, Jr., a daughter, Mabel, a brother, and two sisters preceded her in death. There are five grand children and four great grand children.
