Anderson, June Jasinski (22 December 1945 - 7 January 2008)

June (Jasinski) Anderson went to rest with the Lord on Monday, January 7, 2008 at Palos Hills Community Hospital after a lingering illness.

June was born on December 22, 1945 in Lublin, WI and attended schools in Lublin and Gilman. She was a member of the executive board of the CT Corporation in Chicago until her physical condition forced her to retire. She was very talented in crafts and as a dressmaker. At one time she had a bridal shop where she designed and created many beautiful gowns. June was blessed with a beautiful soprano voice and her greatest joy was singing and directing church choirs. She also performed professionally at one time, being invited to sing in Carnegie Hall.

Her greatest loss was the death of her beloved husband, Ron, in March of 2002, whom she mourned until the day she died.

She is survived by her parents, Ed and Irene Jasinski of Thorp; two sons, Ian (Dyane) Revak in the U. S. Navy at Great Lakes, IL and Nicholas (Carrie) Revak of Shorewood, IL; and a granddaughter, Sarah Marie Revak.

Her funeral was held on January 11, 2008 at St. Luke’s Orthodox Church in Palos Hills, IL, with Fr. Andrew Harrison, Fr. Myron Manzuk, Deacons Andrew and Daniel, and His Eminence Archbishop Job officiating.

Pallbearers were her sons, Ian and Nicholas; three godsons, David and Matthew Fedick and Jim Lewandowski; and Ed Jasinski. Honorary pallbearers were Aristea Zekios and Bonnie Skapyak.
