Plechacek, Patricia Louise (13 April 1972 - 13 January 2008)

Patricia L. Plechacek, age 35, of Withee, formerly of Thorp, Wisconsin, died on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Thorp. Fr. Keith Apfelbeck officiated and burial followed in St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation was held at Thorp funeral Home on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary Service, and at the church, on Wednesday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

Patricia Louise Plechacek was born on April 13, 1972 in Chippewa Falls, to Anton and Ruth (Bruun) Plechacek. She was raised on the family farm, south of Thorp. Patricia moved to Greenwood, and worked at Adult Development Service for five years. The then moved to Withee, where she has resided until the present time. She was involved with the Special Olympics for several years and also active with the Clark County Outreach program.

Patricia was a member of St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic and had many interests, but especially enjoyed Packer football, Brewer baseball, swimming, bowling, country and polka music, and Christmas.

She will be sadly missed by her parents: Tony and Ruth Plechacek of Thorp; six siblings: David (Penelope) of Lake St. Louis, MO, Rita (Thomas) Johnson of Stevens Point, Paul (Cheryl) of Willard, Daniel (Rita) of Chippewa Falls, Michael of Thorp, and Carol (James) Rowell of Colorado Springs, CO; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
