The cemetery record for Valentine Fleckenstein shows his parents as Frank Fleckenstein and Sabina Braun. I think I located his passenger list record, since date, age, origin and destination match. The ship is the "Weser" sailing from Bremen, Germany to Baltimore MD, arriving July 1883. He is traveling alone, and his listed destination is Wisconsin. I do not know if he was following other family members to Wisconsin. According to his obit, he was married in Milwaukee in 1884. Census reports place him in West Bend WI in 1895, in St. Paul MN in 1900, and in Dorchester/Mayville Twp WI in 1905-1910-1920-1930.
