Feind, Mr./Mrs Charles (50th Anniv. - 25 Oct. 1952)
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Feind celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at a 6:30 P.M. dinner served 65 guests at the Zion Lutheran church parlors Saturday, Oct. 25, 1952, after which open house was held for relatives and friends at the Feind home in Colby, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Feind, nee Amanda Wiedenhoeft, was born in Brownsville, Wis., on April 14, 1880, and moved to Colby in October, 1893. Mr. Feind was born in Chilton, Wis., on July 23, 1870, and moved to Colby in 1873. They were married in Zion Lutheran church in Colby, Wisconsin on October 30, 1902. Mr. Feind is a retired farmer.
They have nine children - Mrs. E. W. (Elsie) Schulz of Colby, Julius Feind of Rochester, Minn., Adeline Feind, Ernest Feind and Mrs. Norman (Laura) Marsh of Colby, Verna, Irene and Alida Feind of Milwaukee and Arthur Feind of Rochester, Minn.
Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Julius Feind and family and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Feind and family of Rochester, Minn., Misses Verna, Alida and Irene Feind of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Bauer and family of Dixon, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Julius Schulz and daughter of West Allis, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Schulz of Milwaukee, Donald Schulz of Madison, Miss Grace Schulz of Stevens Point, Miss Joyce Feind of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wiedenhoeft of Unity, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Steckhahn and Clarence Steckhahn of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
