Curtis - July 10, 1952

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Olson on July 2nd at Victory Hospital, Stanley.

The Ladies’ Aid of the Ev. Lutheran church will meet on Thursday, July 17, at the parish hall with Mrs. G. Barnes as hostess.

Douglas Graham, who is attending summer school at the University of Wisconsin, spent the week-end with his wife and son at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Art Thompson.

Miss Gertie Schultz of Milwaukee visited her sister, Mrs. Anna Tonn, over the week-end.

Vacationing at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Stockmeyer, are Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Bartell and family of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stockmeyer, and Nancy of La Crosse were here for the week-end.

Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Simmons of Loke Forest, Ill., spent the week-end with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Pohl. They were on their way north.

Mr. and Mrs. Hans Hennlich and family of Milwaukee are enjoying a visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Woik.

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lucht and family of Madison spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Heibsch.

Mr. and Mrs. J. Barnes had as their guests over the week-end the latter’s son-in-law and daughter, Capt. and Mrs. Eugene Flint of Rapid City, S.D., her son, Cameron Smith and Miss Agnes Boehnlien of Neenah.

Mrs. Geo. Koerner was admitted to the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital Sunday.

A 3/3 Hilarian Michlig returned to Cheyenne, Wyoming, Sunday after a short leave here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Michlig.

Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Kopps of Waukesha are visiting his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kopps.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Peterson and son of Madison spent the week-end with his mother, Mrs. E. M. Peterson.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Crement of Chicago spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Herrick. Kenneth returned home Sunday but the family will spend the week here.

Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Hennlich and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Elert and son of Milwaukee, who are vacationing here, and Mr. and Mrs. George Edwards and family attended the 55th wedding anniversary celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hennlich, Sr., at Dorchester Sunday.
