Jost, Eunice (Marriage - 3 Oct. 1943)
Mr. and Mrs. Horace Vandeberg received a letter last week from their son, Lt. Harold Vandeberg, saying that he was marred at 10:30 a.m. October 3, to Miss Eunice Jost of Unity, Wis. They were married at Macomb, Ill., where Harold is stationed. Their attendants were another officer and his wife. The bride wore a green tailored suit with black accessories. The groom wore his regular uniform. They will make their home at present in Bushnell, Ill. Harold’s wife writes army people have no choice of where they want to live. They are living with another officer and his wife, sharing everything but their bedroom.
She said the drinking water there is bad, but they have to drink that or go thirsty. She says the people there are very friendly.
