Hansen, Adeline C. (Marriage - 27 Nov. 1952)
Miss Adeline C. Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Hansen, and Dennis M. Zobrack, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Zobrack, exchanged marriage vows in St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby, Wisconsin on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27th, Rev. Frank Brickl officiating. Marcella M. Hansen, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and Delores Hansen and Karen Hansen, also sisters, were bridesmaids. The groom was attended by his brother, Donald Zobrack, and a friend, Marlyn Sommers. Lovely Ann Chaplinsk, cousin of the bride, was flower bearer.
The bride was attired in a white all-over lace over satin gown, princess style, with a train and finger-tip veil. Her cascade style bouquet consisted of large white chrysanthemums mixed with yellow mums. The maid of honor wore a gold satin gown with a sweetheart bonnet and her colonial style bouquet consisted of white and pink chrysanthemums. Miss Delores Hansen wore an American beauty satin gown with a sweetheart bonnet and her colonial style bouquet consisted of white rust and yellow mums. Miss Karen Hansen wore a forest green satin gown with a sweetheart bonnet and her bouquet also consisted of white, rust and yellow mums.
Dinner was served 50 friends and relatives in St. Mary’s gymnasium. A reception, attended by about 125 guests, followed at 4:30.
The groom is employed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Guests at the wedding were from Thorp, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Spencer, Abbotsford and Boyd.
