Szemraj, Walter (7 MAR 1919 - 28 SEP 1996)

Thorp, Clark Co., Wis. - Walter "Wally" Szemraj, 77, Thorp, died Sept. 28, 1996, at the Clark County Health Center in Owen.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s National Church in Lublin. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 - 9 ;.m. Tuesday at Thorp Funeral Home.

He was born March 7, 1919, in Lublin. He was the owner of Wally’s Tavern and worked at the Blue Moon Foods of Thorp.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathleen Taulau of Grafton and Geraldine Szemraj of Thorp; one grandchild; a brother, John Szemraj of Thorp; and three sisters, Frances Lewan and Vickey Syryczuk, both of Lublin; and Bernice Bandach of Owen.
