Miss Kathryn Olson, daughter of Peter M. Olson of Neopit, and Carl I. Larsen, son of Mrs. Patrick Crowley of Owen, exchanged the holy vows of matrimony at a quiet church wedding solemnized Friday, July 11, at eight o’clock in the evening, at the Swedish Lutheran church at Joliet, Ill. The Rev. Andre of Joliet officiated at the service.
Miss Olson made an attractive bride as she wore a dress of navy blue with white accessories, and a shoulder corsage of roses.
Her bridesmaid, Mrs. Everett Potter, wore a similar dress of light tan.
The bridegroom and his attendant, Everett Potter, a close friend wore the conventional business suit and a carnation buttonaire.
Mrs. Carl Larsen, is a graduate of the Owen high school and of the Northland college at Ashland.
Mr. Larsen attended the Owen pubilc schools and for the past several months has been employed as a clerk at the Kankakee Ordinance Works at Kankakee, Ill.
The newlyweds have the best wishes of their many friends in Owen and community for a happy wedded life and in establishing themselves in their new home at 340 West Station Street, Kankakee.
