Cutts, Richard #2 (18 MAR 1936 - 4 JAN 2008)
Richard Cutts, 71, Spencer, Wisconsin, died on Friday, Jan. 4, 2008. at Aspirus Hospital, Wausau. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time of a memorial service at 3 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 12, at Community Funeral Home, Spencer, Wis. The Rev. Rebekah Tarras will officiate. Burial will be at West Spencer Cemetery.
Richard Cutts was born on March 18, 1936, to Eldred and Helen (nee Haeterer) Cutts. He graduated from the University of Stevens Point. He went on to attend the University of Illinois to receive his master’s for math. He married Carrol Damon and became a math teacher. He began teaching high school and later taught at the University of Wisconsin, Stout , Eau Claire, Wausau Center, and in Canada. He then resided in Spencer and worked at Land O’ Lakes. He enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Caryol; daughters, Lynda (Bill Hansen) Cutts, Appleton, and Deb (Stacey Scharch) Cutts, Minneapolis, Minn.; son, Rick (Kathy) Cutts, Sun Prairie; two brothers, Len Cutts, Stratford, and Ken (Diana) Cutts, Marshfield; and four grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and one brother, Jerry.
