Niehoff, Felix H. (2 Apr. 1882 - 18 Jan. 1952)
Funeral services for Felix H. Niehoff, age 69, who had been living with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Niehoff, in San Diego, Calif., and who died January 18 in that city, were held Tuesday, Jan. 22, in San Diego. Burial was made there.
Mr. Niehoff was born in Horicon April 2, 1882, and was married in Woodland to Adeline Peters, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Niehoff, who for many years operated a farm in the Town of Holton. Felix, after leaving the farm, operated the Niehoff Hotel in Colby, now the Hotel Colby, for a number of years.
In 1928 he moved to Wausau and operated the Hotel Constance several years. Later he engaged in the selling of livestock minerals. In June, 1950, he joined his son at San Diego. In March 1951, he suffered a paralytic stroke and last Jan. 18 suffered another, death following shortly afterwards.
Surviving are two sons, Harold of San Diego, Calif., and Roger of Denver, Colo.; two brothers, Paul G. Niehoff of Los Angeles, Calif., and Conrad E. Niehoff of Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. G. C. Johnson of Evansville, Ind., and Mrs. O. C. Lemke of Wausau.
