Funeral services for Mrs. Helga Kluve, age 67, who passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield Sunday evening, was held at the Curtiss Ev. Lutheran church on Wednesday afternoon, Rev. O. K. Odland officiating, and burial was made in the family lot in the parish cemetery.
Helga Hanson Kluve was born on March 6, 1885, and lived her entire life in the Curtiss community. The last 12 years were at the farm home of her parents in Mayville, northeast of Curtiss. On Dec. 28, 1906, she married August Kluve who preceded her in death on April 16, 1917.
She is survived by one son, Archie, of Curtiss; four daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Leota) Cheviette of Milwaukee, Jaunita, a missionary in Algeria, Africa, Mrs. George (Marion) Murphy of Curtiss and Mrs. Clarence (Eunice) Streit of Menomonee Falls. There are two grand daughters and three grand step sons. A brother, Ole Hanson, a sister, Mrs. Emma Sannes, of Owen and a son, Elmer, age 3, preceded her in death, the latter on Dec. 25, 1917.
