Karsten, Bertha (3 Mar. 1882 - 13 June 1952)
Mrs. Bertha Karsten of Abbotsford, Wisconsin died Friday morning at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital at the age of 70 years, a heart ailment being the cause of her death. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Christ Lutheran church in Abbotsford, Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating, and internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.
Mrs. Karsten, nee Bertha Horn, was born on March 3, 1882, at Greenwood. Her husband, Alfred, died June 2, 1941.
Surviving are two sons, Alfred and Harry of Curtiss; one daughter, Mrs. Franklin (Elsie) Kraut of Curtiss; one sister, Miss Martha Horn of Greenwood; two brothers, William of Greenwood and Frank of Tacoma, Wash.
