Miller, Nora (26 Aug. 1899 - 16 July 1952)

Mrs. Fred J. Miller of Green Grove, Wisconsin died at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. at St. Paul’s Lutheran church in Green Grove. The body will lie in state at the Lulloff Funeral Home until Saturday morning.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Miller of Curtiss, Wisconsin, who died last week Wednesday morning in the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital at the age of 52 years, as reported last week, were held Saturday afternoon in St. Paul’s Lutheran church at Green Grove, Rev. Paul Dietz officiating, and internment was made in the church cemetery. Nephews acted as pall bearers and were Lester Jens of Owen, Orland Lulloff of Sharon, Riley Neuman of Colby, Richard Glinksi, James Glinski and Robert Pflum of Marshfield. Flowers were in charge of nieces and were Mrs. Jerome Schaller, Bonnie Harding, Alice Harding, Jacqueline Braem, Nancy Glinski, Valerie Meyer, Paulette Kersten, Janice Harding and Terry Jens.

Mrs. Miller, the former Nora Harding, was born on August 26, 1899, in the town of Rick, Wood county. She married Fred Miller on August 26, 1920, in Marshfield. She came to Curtiss with her parents in her youth and lived in that community until the time of her death. She made many friends who join her family in mourning her departure.

Surviving are her husband; her mother, Mrs. Pauline Harding; four brothers, Edward, Jr., of Chili, Vern of Bangor, Donald of St. Paul and Hal of Marshfield; four sisters, Mrs. Roman (Cora) Pflum, Mrs. Louis (Dorothy) Harry, Mrs. Louis (Lulla) Glinski and Mrs. Fritz (Lila), all of Marshfield. Her father preceded her in death.

Out of town relatives here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Vern Harding and daughters of Bangor, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Harry, Mrs. Pauline Harding, Mr. and Mrs. Hal Harding and daughter, Janice, Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Braem and daughter, Jacqueline, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Glinksi and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pflum and son, Robert, all of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Harding of St. Paul, Minn., Edward Harding of Chili, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Schaller of LaCrosse, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kersten and family and Miss Veda Lueloff of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Les Meyer and family of Appleton, Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Blank of Milwaukee, Orland Lueloff of Sharon and many other relatives and friends of Thorp, Marshfield, Park Falls, Abbotsford, Owen, Neillsville, Colby, Unity and Curtiss.
