Schultz, William (1 Sept. 1865 - 3 Aug. 1952)

William Schultz, who made his home with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Gust Franz of Colby, passed away Sunday morning at the age of 87 years, old age complications being the cause of his departure. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Zion Lutheran church, Rev. O. Hoffmann officiating, and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were Al Franz, Henry Franz, Adolph Voge, Reinhold Voge, Carl Sabler and William ?.

Mr Schultz, who never married, was born in Germany on September 1, 1865, and came to this country with his sister, Mrs. Chas. Beawer, in 1886 and went directly to Lomira, Wis., where they lived until 1898 when they moved to Colby, Wis. He helped his brother-in-law, Gust Franz, who came here two years earlier, on the farm.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Gust Franz of Colby and Mrs. Chas. Beawer of Milwaukee, One sister, Mrs. Ed Voge, died two years ago.
