Mizell, Joyce (17 Aug. 1915 - 5 Sept. 1952)
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Christ Lutheran church in Abbotsford for Mrs. James (Joyce) Mizell, age 37, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Meske of Abbotsford, Wisconsin, who was killed in an auto accident in Palo Alto, Calif., September 5th. Rev. R. Sprengler officiated and internment was made in the Town Holton cemetery.
Mrs. Mizell, nee Meske, was born August 17, 1915, in Town Holton, Marathon county, where she received her education. After completing her education, she went to Chicago where she was employed for seven years. From there, she went to Alaska where she lived a short time and then went to the West Coast. She married James Mizell in California on November 18, 1940. He died on November 17, 1948.
Surviving are three children, Diane, age 7, Bruce, age 5, and Janice, age 3; a brother, Milton Meske of Curtiss; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Meske of Abbotsford, Wis.
