Konrad, Catherine A. (25 Apr. 1868 - 30 Oct. 1952)

Funeral services for Mrs. Kate Konrad, who passed away at her home on October 30th at the age of 84 years, were held Sunday at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby, Wisconsin, Rev. H. Schall officiating, and burial was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were George Wicker, Henry Aderhold, Oscar Case, Emil Fasbender, Walter Drews and Frank Ladwig.

Catherine A., the youngest of five children, was born April 25th, 1868, to Flavius and Mary Jane Douglas at their farm home in the town of Lyndon, Sheboygan county. After attending Plymouth High School, she taught several terms in the rural schools of the county. On September 11, 1890, she was married to Jacob Konrad at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They engaged in farming in the town of Lima, Sheboygan county, until 1905, when the family moved to the present farm in the town of Hull, Marathon county.

Four children were born, James passing away in infancy, and the surviving three are Edward Perry, Eugene D. and Mary D. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Konrad preceded her in death on January 12, 1916.
