Unity, Wis. - July 2, 1953
The local Boy Scout troop, Harry Laabs, leader, left Monday for a week’s outing at Camp Phillips, near Haugen, Wis. Those who went were Harold Laabs, Dale and Dennis Bowen, Tom Smiley, Franklin Ecker and Bob Neitzel.
Albert Klessig, Paul Konik and Armin Peterson enjoyed a fishing trip to Johnson Creek in Bayfield county over the week-end.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Schley returned Sunday from a two weeks motor trip to the Black Hills and other western points.
Mr. and Mrs. Grant Herrick drove to Plainfield Sunday where they met their daughter-in-law and children of Beaver Dam who returned home with them for a week’s visit.
Mrs. Augusta Pohl returned home Sunday from a three weeks visit with her daughter at Lake Forest, Ill.
