Treankler, Virginia Marie (Marriage - 29 Dec. 1952)
Miss Virginia Marie Treankler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Treankler of the town of Colby, Wis., and Allen Eugene Stange, son of Mrs. Neil Oestreich of Loyal, were united in marriage at a double-ring ceremony in the rectory of St. Bernard’s Catholic church in Abbotsford Monday afternoon, Dec. 29, Rev. Raymond Schulz reading the marriage ceremony.
Miss Darlene Treankler of the town of Colby attended her sister as maid of honor and Miss Jean Stange of Loyal, sister of the groom, was the bridesmaid. Cpl. Harold Stange, home on furlough from Korea, served his brother as best man. The bride’s brother, Dwight Treankler, of the town of Colby, was the groomsman.
A reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents and supper was served in the Abbotsford armory club rooms. A dance was given in the Dorchester Memorial Hall.
