Wucherpfennig, Carol Ann (Marriage - 21 Feb. 1953)

Miss Carol Ann Wucherpfennig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Wucherpfennig of Unity, and Victor LeRoy Sandley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sandley, were united in marriage at the Zion Lutheran church in Colby Saturday afternoon, Feb. 21, Rev. O. Hoffmann reading the marriage ceremony. Mrs. Lawrence Priem of Colby played "The Lord’s Prayer."

Miss Lucille Wucherpfennig, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor and LaVerne Sandley of Milwaukee was his brother’s best man. Ushers were Leslie Williams of Abbotsford and Theodore Sandley of Medford.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. For the present, the bride, a graduate of Unity High School, will live with her parents as her husband is entering military service within a week. He had been employed by the St. Croix Corporation.
