Wrezenski, Gladys (Marriage - 29 May 1953)
Gladys Wrezenski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Schultz of Milwaukee, Wis., and Henry J. Frome, a former resident of Colby were united in marriage Friday afternoon in St. John’s Lutheran church in Phillips, Rev. G. Overdier officiating at the rites. The couple was attended by the groom’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. James Archambo of Phillips.
The bride was attired in a blue suit with navy blue accessories and a shoulder corsage of pink and white carnations. The matron of honor wore a pink suit with white accessories and a shoulder corsage of pink and white carnations.
Following the marriage, a reception and dinner were held at the home of the groom’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Frome, Sr., in Colby, Wis. In the evening, a wedding dance was held at Colby Park.
The bride is a graduate of the Wisconsin Dells High School and the groom is a graduate of the Colby High School. They will reside in Milwaukee where the groom is employed by the Air-Folter Corp.
Guests present at the wedding included Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Frome, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Frome, Sr., and family, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Frome, Jr., and family, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Barr and son, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Mellenthin and family and Louis Frome, all of Colby, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Frome and family of Marshfield, Misses Mary Lou and Donald Wrenzenski of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Glen of Unity, Orvin Frome of Milwaukee, Wallis Frome of Pewaukee and Mr. and Mrs. James Archambo and family of Phillips.
