Schoolman, Rosina (13 Aug. 1874 - 27 Dec. 1952)
Mrs. John Schoolman of Unity, Wisconsin died Saturday afternoon at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Ewert of Unity, with whom she had been making her home the past four months, at the age of 78 years. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Trinity Lutheran church in Unity, Rev. Randolph Mueller officiating, and internment was made in the North Lutheran cemetery, Spencer, Wis.
Mrs. Schoolman, the former Rosina Veringer, was born on August 13, 1874, in Germany. She came to this country with her parents when she was three years old. They settled in Iowa for a few years before moving to Ladysmith. On July 13, 1895, she was married to John Schoolman in Iowa. He died on May 13, 1935. They resided in Spencer and the surrounding area for many years.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Rose) Spiegelberg of Spencer, Mrs. Alvin (Marie) Kolsted of Arpin and Mrs. Myron (Minnie) Ewert of Unity; five sons, Albert and Lincoln of Unity, John and Carl of Spencer and George of Clear Lake; 15 grand children; two great grand children; two brothers, Chris of Manquoketa, Iowa and Gottlieb in Germany. Four sisters and a son preceded her in death.
