Rydberg, Emma E. (29 Apr. 1885 - 25 Mar. 1953)

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma E. Rydberg, who died last week Wednesday at the age of 67 years, were held Saturday afternoon in the Trinity Lutheran church in Unity, Wisconsin, Rev. Claude Vander Stoep officiating, and internment was made in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Rydberg, the former Emma Melander, was born on April 29, 1885 in Sweden. Her marriage to Gustaf E. Rydberg took place on May 22, 1903, in Chicago. They moved to Unity in 1919 and made their home there since that time. Mr. Rydberg died on August 24, 1951.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Joseph Lynch of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Roy Johnson of Downers Grove, Ill., Mrs. Lawrence Rinn of Whitewater, Mrs. Peter Pevonka of Janesville and Mrs. Ervin Boress of Marshfield, nine grand children, four great grand children; four sisters, Mrs. Albert Johnson of Unity and Mrs. Hulda Carlson, Mrs. Anna Johnson and Mrs. Elmer Anderson, all of Sweden; three brothers, Alex Melander of Chicago and Knute Melander and Emil Melander of Sweden.
