Niggeman, Conrad (10 May 1881 - 12 Apr. 1953)

Conrad Niggeman of Rib Lake, Wisconsin, a former Colby (Clark County, Wis.) citizen, died at the Medford Hospital Sunday morning after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held at St. John’s Catholic church in Rib Lake Wednesday morning and burial was made in the Medford cemetery.

Mr. Niggeman lived in Colby, Wisconsin for 30 years and operated a blacksmith shop in the building now the Rannow Cabinet Shop. He retired in 1945 and moved to Rib Lake. He was born in Germany on May 10, 1881 and was married to Anna May on May 10, 1910 at Fond du Lac. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Holy Name Society.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Edward of Kankee, Ill., and Vernon of Tacoma, Wash.; on grandchild; three brothers and one sister. A son, Raymond, preceded him in death.
