Case, Hazel Ida (5 Feb. 1902 - 10 May 1953)

Mrs. Oscar Case of the town of Hull, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield on Sunday, May 10th. Her death was caused by a stroke suffered Saturday afternoon. Funeral services were held at the Lulloff Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon, May 12th, Rev. Harvey Schall of the Methodist church officiating, and internment was made in the Byron cemetery. Pall bearers were John Raschka, Joe Koleske, William Beawer, Emil Wolk, Perry Konrad and Lester Sonnemann.

Hazel Ida Case, (nee Bayer) was born on February 5, 1902, at Fond du Lac, Wis. She was united in marriage to Oscar Case on September 1st, 1924 at Menomonee Falls, Wis. The couple lived on a farm at Byron, Wis., until September, 1932, when the family moved to Colby, Wis.

She is survived by her husband; four children, Mrs. William (Leila) Koncel of Dorchester, Kenneth of Rib Lake, Melvin, with the U.S. army in Germany; and Janet, at home; one brother, Delbert Bayer, of Fond du Lac.

Out of town people here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Case and Mrs. Frank Schriener of Rib Lake, Mr. and Mrs. William Koncel and Mrs. Anton Koncel of Dorchester, Miss Marjorie Beawer of Antigo and Miss Irene Beawer of Wild Rose.

Mrs. Case will be remembered by members of her family, neighbors and friends for her kind and cheerful disposition and her devotion to her family circle. Her sudden departure was a shock to all who knew her.
