Mrs. Mathew Werner (Della Ducat) of Abbotsford, Wisconsin died at the Wisconsin General Hospital in Madison Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at St. Bernard’s Catholic church in Abbotsford, Rev. Raymond Schulz officiating, and internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery. Pall bearers were Archie Melvin, L. Riehle, Peter Stszeynski, Brice Bender, Frank Wogernese and Elmer Leichtnam. Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Clem Keller, Mrs. Elmer Leichtnam, Mrs. Archie Melvin and Mrs. Leonard Riehle.
Mrs. Werner was born in Dykesville, Wis., on February 19, 1889, thus reaching the age of 64 years, six months and three days. She married Mathew Werner in 1924. Fourteen years ago, they moved from Appleton to Milan after which they spent several years in Cherokee, and, for the past two years, on a farm two miles east of Abbotsford, Wis.
Surviving are her husband; one son, Lenard; four sisters, Mrs. Elmo Muford of Nato, Mich., Mrs. Rose Rankin of Green Bay, Mrs. Arnie Routhleaux of Dykesville, Mrs. Steven Boder of Green Bay; two brothers, Joe Ducat of Kimberly and Victor Ducat of Green Bay.
Mrs. Werner was a faithful member of the Catholic church and her many friends will remember her as one who always endeavored to live according to *** Note: The rest of the article was cut off.
