Justman, Roy James (25 May 1924 - 4 Oct. 1953)
Roy James Justman of Unity, age 29, died at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital Sunday at 1:45 P.M. following a stroke while working on his IGA grocery store in Unity Thursday. Funeral services were held at the Trinity Lutheran church in Unity Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Claude Vander Stoep officiating, and burial was made in the church cemetery.
Mr. Justman was born on a farm three and one-half miles southwest of Unity on May 25, 1924. He was married to Vivian Johnson on May 24, 1945, in the Trinity Lutheran church in Unity, Wis. After graduating from Unity High School, he was employed at the Noll Hardware Store in Marshfield from 1942 to 1952 when he bought the IGA Store.
Surviving besides his wife is one daughter, Susan, age three years, one brother, Merlin, on the home farm, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Justman, Sr. One brother, Marvin, preceded him in death.
