Pietras, Frank Mrs. (1889? - 22 Nov. 1953)

Thorp, Wis. - A 62-year-old Thorp farm woman was struck and killed by an automobile on Highway 29, one and one-half miles east of here, about 11:30 o’clock Sunday night.

The victim, Mrs. Frank Pietras, met death only a short time after escaping from another traffic mishap when a pickup truck in which she and her husband were returning to their home ran off the road into a ditch and struck a large stone.
