Hutton, Luella Diana (11 Nov. 1870 - 21 Dec. 1953)

Mrs. Fred E. Hutton died Monday, Dec. 21, after a lingering illness. The body will lie in state at the Lulloff Funeral Home until Thursday, Dec. 24, when funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. in the Methodist church in Colby, Wis., Rev. Harvey Schall officiating, and internment will be made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. The deceased was a member of the Royal Neighbors and all members of that organization are requested to attend the funeral.

Luella Diana Cole was born on November 11, 1870, in Milford township, Defiance county, Ohio, and came to Colby with her parents in 1882. She married Thomas M. Wescott on November 11, 1896, who died on October 10, 1901. She married Fred E. Hutton on September 6, 1911.

Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. W. E. (Irma) of Ferndale, Mich.; and three grand sons. One son preceded her in death.

Being of a kindly and friendly disposition, Mrs. Hutton had many friends who will remember her especially for her keen interest in civic affairs, her church, her lodge and her family.
