Wm. Will Beneficiary Of Own Insurance

William Will, age 96, who resides with his son, Frank, on a farm about five miles southwest of Colby, has lived long enough to become the beneficiary of an insurance policy on his own life. A policy with a fraternal organization, which matured as an endowment after Will’s exceeded the mortality expectancy of 95, was paid in full last week.

Will was born in Sheboygan county on February 6, 1858, and after his marriage to Anna Silbernagel, the couple moved onto the farm where he now lives. The couple retired from farming about 29 years ago and moved to Colby, Wis. Their son, Frank, took over operation of the farm. Following the death of his wife in 1937, the elder Will returned to the home farm where he has resided since.

Will is confined to his bed most of the time because of infirmities accompanying his advanced age but he still finds pleasure in smoking and visiting with members of his family and friends. He is believed to be the oldest living member of St. Mary’s Catholic church of Colby with which he has been affiliated for *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
