Curtiss, Wis. - July 29, 1954
The Helping Hand Society will meet on Friday, July 30, with Mrs. Stella Brady. A pot luck lunch will be served.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pudlas, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Thompson and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Tovio Kallio and sons, Bob and Donald Marcott attended the wedding of the Pudlas’ grandson, John Pudlas, at Forreston, Ill., Friday, July 23.
Mr. and Mrs. Arvie Hermanson and family of Brook, Ind., accompanied by the former’s father, Marcus Hermanson, who had been visiting there, arrived here Friday for a visit with relatives.
Miss Bertha Kraut returned home Friday from a two week’s visit with relatives in St. Paul.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Matthias and sons of Norfolk, Va., are visiting at the home of their mother, Mrs. Frank Matthias.
Rev. and Mrs. O. K. Odland and family of Morrisonville, Wis., called on friends here Thursday and Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Marvel Borgemoen of Chicago are enjoying their vacation with his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Borgemoen, and her parents at Lublin.
Mr. and Mrs. Grant Herrick spent the week-end at Milwaukee with their son, Kenneth, and family. Their grandson, Kenneth Jr., and daughter-in-law and daughters of Columbus, Wis., returned home with them for a visit.
