Mr. and Mrs. Alex Winkel entertained relatives and friends on Wednesday evening in honor of the former’s birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koffarnus attended a birthday party at the Clifford Smith home on Thursday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Carnahan and son, Mike, of Green Bay spent the week-end at the Charles Carnahan home.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koffarnus and family and Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Koffarnus and family attended the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koffarnus, Sr., at Abbotsford on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Alex Winkel and daughters accompanied Mr. and Mrs. George Theilig of Colby to Ogema, on Tuesday afternoon, where they attended the wedding of Dorothy Mingel and Richard Jorgenson.

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Boss entertained relatives on Sunday with a lawn picnic. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. David Brecker and daughters of California, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Schulz and family of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Bauer and sons of Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Schulz and daughter, Grace, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Schulz and son, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Schulz and son.
